ISTE Portfolio Extension

  • The ISTE Certification Team is providing complimentary extensions for portfolios due March 19, 2020, through May 31, 2020, with a new due date of August 31, 2020.
     
    Additional Portfolio Office Hours:
    Thursday, March 26, 2020 8:00am EST and 4:00pm EST
    Wednesday, April 1, 2020, 2:00 pm EST and 8:00 pm EST

TLS 2020 and Mini-LACUE Event Announcement

  • With a heavy heart the LACUE Board has made the decision to cancel the face-to-face Technology Leadership Summit that was scheduled for June 16-18, 2020, at the Marriott Hotel in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. With the rapidly changing situation associated with COVID-19, the board unanimously voted to cancel the event for everyone’s safety. 
     
    As a result of this decision, all face-to-face LACUE Events scheduled between now and August 31, 2020, have been canceled. Decisions concerning any events scheduled after this date are fluid and will be based on advice from the appropriate governing bodies.   
     
    We are looking at options to provide networking opportunities and professional development for our partners and participants. Please feel free to reach out to your LACUE Board Members with questions or concerns. The LACUE Board is here to help with resources and assistance as we navigate these unchartered waters. We are all in this together!

A Message from The President

  • Lacue President First Year

    It has been a great first year as your LACUE President!  I am so excited about all of the energy and commitment that all of you have to making sure that technology is a part of all of our children's lives in a meaningful way.  Thank you for all that you do every day for the students of Louisiana!

    This year we would like to make cyber security a priority as an organization, as well as work on our Advocacy stand.  My continued hope for this organization is to build a network of individuals that establishes everlasting friendships and connections as we work to help our students to grow and achieve.  I look forward to another year as your President, as we continue to learn together and to create a Louisiana that provides endless possibilities to our students.
