Practical Strategies for Integrating Coding, Creativity, & Problem Solving Skills into your Curriculum

    Description:

The ongoing Maker Revolution has filled Makerspaces and schools with state-of-the-art technologies.  However, teachers and administrators still struggle to find practical ways to integrate these STEAM initiatives into their curriculum.  Join the AXI team as we walk through setting up a Makerspace built around engaging children in all grade levels so that they can develop their coding, creativity, and problem-solving skills through the use of innovative technologies.  Attendees will leave this session with valuable resources that they can take back to their district and share. This session will be hands-on, so all participants should plan to bring a device to be able to interact with many of the products and activities.

Telehealth and Education:  Addressing the Needs of the Whole Child

    Description:

More than 50% of students miss one or more school days per year to due injury or illness.  Through the use of Telemedicine, students are afforded real time access to health care providers to diagnose and treat a number of medical issues, including both acute and chronic illnesses, as well as behavioral and mental health conditions.  By offering these services within your district, you not only provide a benefit to teachers and students, but also reduce disparities in access to health care by addressing equity issues outside of the classroom.

Your Options Just Got Better: A Deep Drive in the OnCourse SIS

There have been a lot of rumors about this system, now join OnCourse’s technology team to see it for yourself!

What are you most curious about? LDOE reporting? Data conversion? IBCs? How this system has saved districts tens of thousands of dollars? Submit your questions to Sam at smorgan@oncoursesystems.com and we’ll give you a live walkthrough of your feature of choice.
