Adora Svitak's writing and speaking careers took off at the same time—at age seven. When she published her first book, a how-to-write handbook with her own short stories for educators and students alike, she became an in-demand speaker at schools and education conventions around the world. Making the most of her insider's perspective (who has a better grasp of today's kids than today's kids?) she's become a force for change inside—and outside—the classroom.

Adora began her speaking career talking to students—through her live performances and her popular video conferencing series, she has reached more than 350 schools and classrooms around the world. As she wowed students and teachers, sharing her innovative ideas about education on some of the world's leading media outlets, school administrators and technology advocates began requesting Adora's unique perspective on education innovation. At the same time, Adora gives educators a kid’s eye view on reinventing curriculums by changing delivery systems—integrating technology and creative learning strategies while enhancing classical content.

Today, in addition to professional development seminars for teachers, education conferences, and regular workshops in some of the nation's most prominent school systems, Adora writes for popular education blogs and contributes to education magazines like CDW-G’s EdTech. She speaks for technology companies, keynotes at reading and literacy conferences, and appears at events in the corporate world.
