The Louisiana Association of Computer Using Educators wishes to recognize educators who have effectively integrated the use of technology into the educational process. Each nominee should be someone who is using computer-based technology in an innovative fashion. The awards program is open to all educators associated with private, public, and parochial schools located within the state of Louisiana. Nominations are being accepted from teachers, students, administrators, parents, etc.
These outstanding professionals can be nominated in the following categories:
1. Early Childhood Teacher of the Year (Head Start, Pre-K, K)
2. Elementary Teacher of the Year (Grades 1 – 5)
3. Middle/Junior High Teacher of the Year (Grades 6 - 8)
4. Secondary Teacher of the Year (Grades 9 - 12)
5. Post-Secondary Teacher of the Year
6. Leader of the Year (Certified non-classroom personnel, including librarians)

Two Ways to Make a Nomination (PICK ONE):
Option 1: Submit a Complete Nomination Form
Use this option if you are nominating an individual and can answer all of the questions on the nomination form (including work experience, involvement in professional organizations, presentations at professional conferences, and how the individual promotes and supports the use of technology into the school/classroom).

Option 2: Submit a Partial Nomination Form
Use this option if you can not complete all of the questions on the nomination form but would still like to nominate a deserving individual. LACUE will contact your nominee and direct him/her to the nomination form. NOTE: The nominee will NOT enter the regional competition until a complete nomination form has been submitted. Your name will be included in the notification as the person making the nomination.
